It was windy, raining, cold, but i went fishing off the rock wall anyway, as per usual, at 17:30 till 22:30. The rain was pouring down, with the cold wind blowing, ideal conditions for Gummy Sharks & Snapper land-based - At approx 20:50 in the night, my rod buckles over & line screams off on the Alvey 65DS Rockhopper 'I caught a nice Gummy Shark' - The Gummy Shark fought hard & went 115cm approx 9kg to 11kg - Fish & Chip shops sell this as 'Flake' excellent eating quality fish - The many many fishless fishing sessions land-based have paid off again, now for that BIG Snapper next ..

When raining is a little dangerous, because the lightinings. Rods can serves as atractors. Indeed, if lightning storms are predicted i don't go fishing, but if it's just terrible windy & rainy condition's i still go, as big fish like the stirred up shallow water.
