I have been fishing the Breakwater lately & yesterday evening caught a 1.4m Gummy Shark -
At approx 21:57 my rod buckles over & the tough fight began, this 140cm Gummy Shark was strong & fought very hard -
The full moon was up & the Gummy Sharks are out for a feed during these periods at night -
The Alvey 65C + Garry Howard Fish Seeker MT9144 rods did the job, on this fine 140cm Gummy Shark -
Some fillets i taken from this Gumbo, this is sold at fish & chip shops 'Known & marketed as Flake' -
Am very happy with this land-based Gummy Shark catch, these fish are highly sought after & considered a prize catch -
