I have used this knot for my soft plastic jig heads, lures etc for many years, great knot - I never used it. Seems good one. Normally I use a snap.

I never used it. Seems good one. Normally I use a snap. I have used this for many years, never known it as 'Rapala knot' but used this knot for all my lures & soft plastic, works better than snap swivel, due to no resistance to lure, allows free swimming action..

The problem is when you need change lure. You need cut the line. If you use a thick ending line, this line is getting less and less.

You change your lure at ever 10 minutes, looking for the best that day.
